I love Scotland for so many reasons but the people and the foodie scene share the top spot for me.
There is, in my opinion, no better way to enjoy the company of great people than when immersed together in one of the many culinary offerings.
Scotland has some of the freshest seafood you can imagine. Seasonal, foraged, and farm-to-table restaurants that showcase local ingredients. Cities bursting with street food markets and award-winning vegan-friendly eateries. All paired with Scotch whisky or gin, from distilleries found practically everywhere.
The culinary scene is as multifaceted as Scotland itself and with the Scottish people around you will always be welcomed, feel like you instantly belong and leave feeling like you are a little bit Scottish too.
